Exercise NARWHAL 2004
Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada

Exercise NARWHAL, which took place August 13-24, 2004 in the Cumberland
Peninsula area of Baffin Island, was the largest exercise Canada has ever run
in the Arctic. The purpose of the exercise, which involved about 600 Canadian
Forces personnel, was to train and conduct joint sovereignty operations in
Canada's rugged northern environment. What follows is a short slideshow of
images from that period. Enjoy the show!
