A CH-146 Griffon helicopter returns to Pangnirtung Airport with two Canadian Forces
(CF) soldiers who became stranded in the surrounding mountains the previous night
due to inclement weather. The pair were part of Exercise NARWHAL, taking place
August 13-24 in the Cumberland Peninsula area of Baffin Island. This is the largest
exercise Canada has ever run in the Arctic.
